To get started in horse ownership, Bridgman Racing have put together a guide to help you with all the relevant information and advice on becoming an owner for the first time.

When it comes to purchasing a horse for the first time, Bridgman Racing can purchase a horse for you on your behalf or offer you shares iexistingng horses that are already stabled with Bridgman Racing.

THE RACES

When your horse arrives at the Bridgman Racing stables, it will be put through a rigorous training, development and educational phase before it heads to the track where opportunities are endless for owners.

During Jason Bridgman’s career of more than 20 years in the thoroughbred racing industry, he has gained experience and refined his methods in France, England, United States, Japan and New Zealand. He settled in Victoria, Australia, in 2015.

WORLD CLASS FACILITIES

At Bridgman Racing, we have state of the art facilities located at Racing.com Park, also known as the Pakenham Racing Club. Our facilities include A 2400m turf track, 2000m Polytrack synthetic track, Sand training track, Water Walkers, Horse Spas & Treadmills, Equine Exercise and rehabilitation Equipment as well as an onsite Equine Pharmacy.

WINNING TRACK RECORD

In the 20 years that Jason Bridgman has been training, he has produced no less than 300 winners, including three age-group champions, four group 1 winners as well as other listed and group success.  

TRANSPARENCY & INTEGRITY

Bridgman Racing has an 'open door policy’ which encourages owners to communicate and visit our stables at any time. We regularly keep you informed of all decisions and costs for your horse. Jason’s integrity is reflected in the clean record he holds regarding the treatment and care of his horses. The welfare of our horses is always the first priority in our daily practices. Rest assured that your horse will have first-class care with us and be presented to the races drug-free.

BOUTIQUE TRAINING 

Bridgman Racing focuses on the quality and the horses and offering a more personalised experience for owners. As a boutique stable, we are hands-on horse lovers who adopt the best management principles when it comes to your horse. Each horse has a unique training program tailored to their needs and Jason personally oversees the day-to-day care of your horse. Sweating the details means maximising potential!
